Private Label Crochet Kits for Your Brand
Create branded DIY crochet kits with custom packaging, selected yarn and accessories, and instruction materials. U-My helps retailers, craft brands and distributors move from an approved concept to repeatable B2B production.
Choose Your Customization Level
Three Ways to Build Your Private Label Crochet Kit Line
Choose how much you want to customize. Branding an existing kit concept is different from developing a new design from scratch.
1. Brand an Existing Kit
Start from a suitable existing kit concept and customize the retail box, inserts, logo and label details. Product availability and artwork rights are checked before quotation.

2. Customize Kit Components
Adapt yarn colors, hook type, project accessories, booklet and packaging around your target audience and retail price point.

3. Develop a New Kit
Work from your own concept, licensed artwork or design brief. Sampling, pattern feasibility and ownership terms are agreed before production.

Branding & Retail Presentation
Customize the Details Customers See and Use
Private label is more than printing your logo. The kit design, instructions, component quality and shelf presentation all contribute to the end-customer experience.
- Custom boxes, hang tabs, sleeves and gift packaging
- Logo artwork, color systems, barcode areas and product labels
- Printed booklets, language options and tutorial QR codes
- Yarn material, color palette, crochet hook and accessory choices
- Retail shelf and e-commerce packaging considerations
Final formats and finishing processes depend on design, MOQ, cost and technical feasibility. Customer-supplied barcodes and translations should be reviewed before printing.
Kit Engineering
A Complete Kit Built Around an Approved BOM
We confirm the component list for each SKU, rather than treating every kit as interchangeable. A typical crochet kit may include:
- Pre-selected yarn quantities and colors
- Appropriate crochet hooks and sewing tools
- Stitch markers, stuffing and project-specific accessories
- Approved instructions and packaging inserts
- Retail carton, labeling and shipping specification
Materials are defined in the approved sample and bill of materials to support repeat orders and reduce missing-component issues.

Manufacturing & Quality
Support for Consistent Repeat Production
U-My has operated since 2012 and coordinates crochet product development, materials and production resources. Our broader handcraft network includes more than 5,000 workers; this is not the number of full-time employees in a single facility.
- Approved reference sample and controlled BOM
- Incoming materials and accessory quantity checks
- Packaging, labeling and final kit verification
- Order and production traceability
- Sample and inspection records as applicable
For US, EU and UK sales, testing and labeling needs depend on product classification and destination. EN 71, ASTM F963, CPC, CE or UKCA requirements are evaluated per product—not claimed universally.

Common Buyer Questions
Private Label Crochet Kits FAQ
What is the difference between private label, OEM and ODM crochet kits?
Private label commonly starts with a suitable existing product concept and adds your branding. OEM typically uses buyer-supplied specifications, while ODM involves supplier-supported design development. The exact scope is agreed for each project.
Can I put my logo on an existing crochet kit?
Yes, subject to artwork rights, product availability and packaging feasibility. Printed packaging, labels and inserts can be quoted after reviewing the brief.
Can you customize yarn, hooks, accessories and instructions?
Many components can be specified, subject to sourcing, project performance, cost, MOQ and sample approval. Each kit is confirmed against an agreed bill of materials.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The typical MOQ is 1,000 kits per design. A different quantity may be considered after review, but it should not be assumed.
How long does private label sampling take?
Typical samples take 7–15 days after clear specifications are confirmed. Original patterns, complex packaging or multiple revisions may require more time.
Will you keep my design exclusive?
Exclusivity is not automatic. Design ownership, supplied intellectual property, territorial rights and restrictions on reuse must be set out in a written agreement.
Can you supply compliant kits for the US and Europe?
We can review destination-market requirements and arrange or support applicable documentation and testing as agreed. Requirements depend on product classification, materials, labeling and intended age group.
How is private label pricing calculated?
Pricing reflects the approved BOM, design and sample work, printed packaging, order quantities, quality requirements and shipping terms.
